Certificate Spammers are out to steal traffic, business, and your money with tactics that work. Search Google on just about anything, let’s use IONWAYS Alkaline Ionized Water. You will see somewhere on the first page , that your search topic is a fraud, and a link to a website that describes why it’s a fraud and then a link to sell you on THE PROVEN METHOD.

Virtually every major search result, contains diversionary tactics that takes traffic away from respectable business, and with the economy in recession the financial resilience is being tested to extremes, forcing many to chapter 7, 11 and even closing their doors, at yet another loss of jobs.

Enduring the bleeding, companies are realizing lost profits and many are clueless how to stop it. While stopping greed is like asking the sun to stop shining, there are proven techniques that companies are using to fight back against tactics without being unethical.  And some of these techniques are gaining momentum and efficiency. Spammers, beware there is new breed of ethical marketers learning self-defense and some are even ninjas at it.

One of these techniques can be discovered simply in the search itself. The question must come up, which provides the answer as well. Zen Master, what say you ?  How did the spammers get such high rankings to get on the first page with your add, site, key word search ?  If they did not, search requests for your product would never include spammers ads in the first place !

Ah, Zen Master, I think I see your point ?  If I can get those rankings knocked down to the second or third page of my customers searches, they will never see the spammers that are preying on my traffic.  For SEO Wars, (Search Engine Optimization), there are many things that companies can do, and should be doing anyway to remain at the top.

These include typical SEO techniques, examining competitor pages, their links, their keywords one can see how to out perform them. But, there is another that is rarely thought of. A request can be made to a search engine company to investigate the offenders and penalize them, hence bringing down the page rankings.  The less ethical methods get as mean as the Spammers themselves by using their own tools against them.

For example, a free lancer , representing company A, the VICTIM, can engage in a campaign to knock down the ratings of the spammer, Company ‘B’. This may be more common than you may think, and when you realize how much money is at stake in certain markets, the sum total can turn out to be a bloody ratings battle.

What did Company B (Spam Central) do to get those ratings?  Did they buy PPC ads, press releases, paid articles ? So, can Company A, sure, but escalation is like a game of chance where nobody wins. Winning is all about taking the competition out, completely out ! Spammers do not stand much of a chance in cut-throat tactics, and it is coming to that nowadays.

Writing bogus articles with the right back links from sites well known to spam, can cause spammers to loose their rankings, which is a well known marketing tactic that is used by the spammers themselves. But a quick complaint to a Search Engine can have a devastating effect on the spammers. This is something the spammers do not have in their arsenal. This forces them to change their name , and start over, building their rankings back up.

It is all about winning marketing strategies that gets your top rankings built, and once you are positioned at the top it’s a constant effort to stay there. Ethical internet marketing can be the winning way to the top with the right techniques.

Monitoring your rankings, and those of your competitors is good business practice anyway, and as a bonus you get to catch the spammers before they catch up to you.
