How Important is Financial Independance to you ?
Just Look at the staggering figures ….
According to the Social Security Administration, take any group of 100 people at the start of their working career and follow them for 40 years until they reach retirement age and get ready to cry. Why don’t they teach this stuff in school , and why don’t they teach how to overcome the odds ?
- Only 1 will be wealthy
- 4 will be financially secure
- 5 will continue working, not because they want to but because they have to
- 36 will be dead
- 54 will be dead broke – dependent on the meager Social Security checks, relatives, friends and even charity for a minimum standard of living.
The Odds are for every 100 people 95% will be unsuccessful.
These are far worse in the rest of the world.
Did you wonder about the 5% ? Is there a pattern that they share in common ? Is there a lesson to be learned from their successes and failures ?
Searching for that Holy Grail of truth shows more surprising results.
Some millionaires have college degrees, some do not
Some were born with the money and some were born broke and homeless.
There are millionaires in developed countries, but also millionaires in poor nations.
There are plumbers who are millionaires, and doctors who starve.
What Does Freedom really mean to you ? Is it the ability to say what you want when you want ? There is no country in the world that you can do this without threat of jail, legal problems or even death.
Yell “Thats The Bomb” (A common expression in earlier years meaning the best) and see how airport security likes you freedom of speech !
So Freedom in its strictest sense is in itself an illusion for those 95 % Because only the 5% really have it !
Here is your freedom test .
- Can you take 6 weeks and go to Hawaii and take your closest friends and family with you ?
- Can you get in your RV and drive across the country and visit all the National Parks ?
- Can you afford really good health care ?
- Can you extend a financial helping hand to hundreds of needy students and the homeless ?
- Can you get up any morning and not ever have to worry about your financial future ?
- Can you provide the tools and direction and your time to help someone better thier lives ?
- Can you truly grow to your full potential without the knowledge that this freedom gets you ?
- Can you travel the world and learn the beauty of all the cultures helping you grow inside to new levels ?
- How would you know if you never experienced it ?
So its really not the fact of having money, but what you do with it that makes you free. You in essence buy your own freedom. In russia for example it is not the iron curtain for the rich, they come and go and do and say about as much our 5%.
So What is different about that 5% that we can learn a lesson from ? They were inspired, relentlessly pursued a dream, a plan and did not resign themselves to failure and a job.
The NetSavyMember site models that exact attitude while providing necessary knowledge in making that plan for its members.
