Statue Of Limitations
Yes there is such a thing !
The Statue of limitations on debt exists to keep creditors from harassing you forever. Generally, most debts are written off by your debtors within the first 6 months, after non-payment, and released to a debt-collection agency that will seemingly hound you forever.

This law was with you in mind……
Simply say, This debt is no longer collectible.
You must not admit to the debt, at anytime or especialy make a payment to the agency as this “Resets” the start time of the statute. Always refer to it as “Alleged” debt.
Once they realize they cannot collect the debt, they may unfortunatly sell it to another collection agency !
Legal counsel from qualified individuals familiar with your states regulations is always advised.
